Honduras President Announces that Infrastructure Improvements a Top Priority for 2016

Honduras President Juan Orlando Hernandez announced an increased investment in infrastructure projects to promote job creation and development in the country during 2016.

The Secretary General of of the Executive Branch of the Government, Jorge Ramon Hernandez, confirmed that following a review of all current and future infrastructure programs including the construction and repairs of various roads and the construction of the new International Airport at the Palmerola Air Base currently shared with the US Southern Command Joint Task Force Bravo known also as “Soto Cano” that will replace the capital city of Tegucigalpa airport (Toncontin) are a major priority for 2016.
